Aaron Rodgers is trimming his real estate portfolio in a major way. The 42-year-old quarterback has put his Malibu beachfront estate on the market for $40 million, just weeks after listing homes in both New Jersey and Wisconsin.
Rodgers originally purchased the six-bedroom Pacific Coast Highway property through a trust back in 2019, paying $28 million at the time. The home sits directly on the sand with sweeping ocean views, a private deck, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls that open to the coastline. It also includes a guest house, a gym, and an infinity pool that appears to blend into the horizon.
The Malibu listing follows his decision to sell a sprawling New Jersey mansion, which he bought during his time with the Jets, as well as a property in Wisconsin tied to his years in Green Bay. Taken together, the sales signal a clear break from the places that defined his recent career stops.
Rodgers has not publicly explained the sell-off, but sources close to the quarterback say he is simplifying his life and focusing on fewer, more meaningful holdings. The Malibu home, with its direct beach access and privacy, was one of his favorite retreats during the offseason.
The $40 million asking price marks a solid gain over what he paid five years ago, reflecting both the prime location and the upgrades made during his ownership. Real estate experts note that Malibu's luxury market has remained resilient, even as interest rates have cooled activity in other parts of California.
For now, Rodgers appears content to let the properties speak for themselves. Whether he is downsizing for good or just clearing the books, the listings offer a rare glimpse into the off-field life of one of the NFL's most private stars.
