Premarket, a platform that lets real estate agents search private listings across multiple brokerages in one place, has acquired Maklare AI. The New York-based artificial intelligence company specializes in organizing demand-side data for residential real estate. As part of the deal, Maklare AI co-founder Oliver Wenner will join Premarket as chief operating officer.
The acquisition is meant to help Premarket build what it calls the industry's first demand intelligence platform. While many real estate tools focus on supply, like homes listed for sale, Maklare AI's technology works on the other side of the equation. It structures data around what buyers are actually looking for, including preferences, search behavior, and intent signals. By combining that with Premarket's existing network of off-market and pre-market listings, the company aims to give agents a more complete picture of the market.
Wenner said the integration will allow Premarket to move beyond just showing agents what is available and toward predicting what buyers want before they even make an offer. The company plans to roll out new features in the coming months that use AI to match buyers with properties that are not yet publicly listed.
Premarket launched as a way to solve a common problem for agents: private listings are scattered across different brokerages, making it hard to find everything that might fit a client's needs. The platform aggregates those listings into a single searchable database. With Maklare AI's technology, the company hopes to make that search smarter and more proactive.
