SJP’s Sanofi at M Station West earns WELL platinum certification

SJP Properties has earned a major sustainability milestone for its M Station West building in downtown Morristown. The 12-story office tower, which serves as the headquarters for more than 2,000 Sanofi employees, has been awarded WELL Platinum certification. This is the highest rating possible under the International WELL Building Institute's standards, which focus on occupant health and wellness.

The certification recognizes the building's design features that promote air quality, natural light, and overall comfort. M Station West includes advanced ventilation systems, biophilic design elements like green walls and indoor plants, and access to outdoor terraces. The building also offers fitness facilities, healthy food options, and ergonomic workspaces.

SJP Properties officials said the certification reflects their commitment to creating environments that support employee productivity and well-being. The building opened in 2022 and quickly became a landmark in Morristown's transit-oriented redevelopment area. It is located directly above the town's train station, making it a convenient commute for many workers.

The WELL Platinum rating adds to the building's list of accolades, which already included LEED certification for energy efficiency. Industry experts say the dual focus on sustainability and wellness is becoming a standard for top-tier office properties, especially as companies seek to attract talent back to the workplace.
