Built Technologies builds an AI-powered document intelligence solution on AWS to power agents across real estate finance

Built Technologies has developed a new AI-powered document intelligence solution on Amazon Web Services, designed to automate and accelerate workflows in real estate finance. The company worked with the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, along with AWS partner AND Digital and AWS account teams, to build a scalable processing engine that handles complex real estate finance documents.

The system can classify, split, extract, evaluate, and reason through hundreds of different document types. What once took days of manual review can now be completed in minutes. The engine supports a wide range of documents common in commercial real estate lending, including appraisals, title reports, and financial statements.

A key feature of the solution is that it gives both technical teams and industry experts a shared environment to build and improve document processors. This collaboration allows the system to get smarter over time as users train it on new document formats and edge cases.

Built Technologies said the tool is already helping lenders reduce turnaround times and improve accuracy in underwriting and closing processes. By moving these workflows from manual data entry to automated reasoning, the company aims to cut operational costs while reducing human error.

The solution runs entirely on AWS, using its AI and machine learning services to handle the heavy lifting. Built Technologies plans to continue expanding the system's capabilities as more lenders adopt the technology.
